Managing Your Flytaro SIM Cards in Your Account

The My SIMs page in your Flytaro account is where you add SIM cards, check how much data and time is left on each plan, and manage multiple cards. To add a SIM, enter its number on the My SIMs page — you’ll see its remaining data and validity right away.

Why Use My SIMs?

Once your SIM cards are linked to your account, you can:

  • Top up faster — your saved SIMs appear during checkout, so you don’t need to re-enter the SIM number each time
  • Check remaining data and time left on each plan at a glance
  • View plan history — current, upcoming, and completed plans
  • Manage multiple SIMs — useful if you have one for yourself and others for family or teammates

Before You Start

  • You need a Flytaro account. If you’ve purchased a SIM card or topped up a plan on flytaro.com, an account was created automatically using your billing email. SIM cards bought from other websites cannot be added to a Flytaro account.
  • You need to be logged in. If you haven’t logged in yet, log in here first.

Adding a SIM

You’ll need your SIM card number — the long digit number printed on the back of the SIM card.

  1. Go to your account’s My SIMs page.
  2. Enter your SIM number in the Add SIM number field at the top of the page.
  3. Click Add SIM.

The SIM appears in the list below the input field, showing remaining data and time left on any active plan.

If you see “The SIM number looks incorrect”:

  • Double-check the digits on your card — it’s easy to mistake a 0 for an O, or an 8 for a B
  • Make sure you’re entering the number for a Flytaro SIM, not your home carrier’s SIM

Naming Your SIM Cards

Each SIM in your account has a label above the SIM number — for example, family. Click the pencil icon next to it to rename your SIM.

Naming your SIMs is helpful when you have multiple cards. For example: “Mum’s SIM”, “Europe trip 2026”, or “Team backup”. You don’t have to remember which long number belongs to which card.

Checking Your Data Balance

Want to see how much data you have left? It’s right on the My SIMs page.

Each SIM card in your list shows two key fields:

  • Remaining — how much data is left on your active plan (in MB or GB)
  • Time left — how many days or hours remain on the current plan’s validity period

If you see “No data yet” or “No active plan“, it means there’s no active plan running on this SIM. You can add one anytime from the SIM Top-up page.

The numbers update in near real time as you use data, so you can keep an eye on usage during your trip.

Viewing Plan Details

For more detailed plan information, click View details on any SIM card. The details panel shows three tabs:

  • Current — the plan that’s active right now, with remaining data, time left, and the APN for that plan
  • Not activated — plans you’ve purchased but haven’t started using yet (they activate when the SIM first connects to a network in a covered country)
  • Completed — plans that have been fully used or expired

The APN displayed under the Current plan is what you’ll need if your phone doesn’t connect to the internet automatically. See Setting Up APN for Your Flytaro SIM Card (Android) for setup instructions.

Removing a SIM

To remove a SIM from your account, click Remove SIM on the card. This unlinks the SIM from your account but does not delete the SIM itself — you can re-add it anytime, and any active plans on the SIM remain valid.
